Presentation skills are very important. Without them, you can stutter, get nervous, and get easily distracted. It will be hard to keep eye contact with your audience and speak clearly and fluently. But if you have strong presentation skills, then you will most likely have a high grade based on your performance, as well as other things that will help you in college; you'll be speaking in front of many people.
we were taught a lot by a very good teacher. I learned about many different types of engineering, engineers, about computers, cars, global warming, and much more. It wasn't boring, either. We were able to build bridges, robots, and soon, we are going to build solar cars! IWe were also able to use things on the computer such as iMovie, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. I enjoyed this engineering this semester.
A lot of people pay a lot of money on gas. With solar panels, you don't have to pay a cent, besides the initial cost. Solar powered cars work by converting the sun's energy and sending the energy it produced into the car's battery, which powers the motor. Another way it can work is if the solar panels send the energy straight into motors.
The primary disadvantage of solar panels is the cost. Yeah, they may pay for themselves, but you might not have the money at the time and you will have to borrow some. Then you will be in debt and might take a while to pay off. Otherwise, there are virtually no more disadvantages besides the fact that it can be affected by weather and pollution.
The pros are much more greater than the cons.
Pros:
Solar energy gives off no pollution.
Hardly gives off sound; it's extremely quiet
Solar energy can be produced all around the world, and even in space.
Installing solar energy cost less than installing electrical wires.
Eliminates the need for space since you can install solar panels on your roof.
Will pay off for themselves, despite the high price.
Less dependent on non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels.
Cons:
Solar panels can cost a lot, especially if your house requires more than one solar panel.
Solar energy is affected by the weather.
Like weather, pollution can affect the solar panels.
This weekend was alright. I didn't really do much. I did spend the night at my grandmas; I was able to see my cousins that I only see about once a week, and we played Monopoly. In the morning that followed, we went to church, then ate lunch. After that, at about 6:00 P.M., I went home and stayed there the rest of the night.
Well, for homework I was asked to do something that helped the environment such as turning off the tv, faucets, etc. So I went around the house and turned off every single object that was using up electricity that I wasn't currently using. I really couldn't think of anything else so this was my last option. Hey, it's better than nothing.
